WISE-Volunteer and WISE-Table are excited to organize a joint-event and support the Billion Oyster Project this fall! Volunteers will join the expert team at Governors island to learn through hands-on work. We'll be cleaning shell substrate and maintaining the shell pile, and other activities as needed to support oyster restoration in New York Harbor.

We’ll also break from the larger group for a picnic from 1–2 PM, to discuss important concepts around overfishing impacts and sustainable seafood. Spots are on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to 12 members.
